Kay was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, friend, Head Start teacher, school district receptionist and did custom sewing, mending, alterations, anything sewing related, and lots of quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Eastman Johnson, second husband, Paul Edward Talkington; sister Darlleen Cassity; brother Dennis Rinker.

Kay is survived by her daughters, April Marlleen (Dave) Pendleton, Edie Nathal Johnson; brothers, Stanley Rinker, Danny Rinker; sister, Patty Haggerty; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Lisa) Cramer, Amber (Neal) Hageman, Misty (Chad) Jackson, Paul (Heather) Beddoes; great grandchildren, Cody, Devin, Eric, Fillip, Gage, Kiara, Max, Jacob, Charlemarie, Jesselee, Tyler, Harmonie, Brantley, Aspen; great great grandchildren Braxton, Kenai; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
