Funeral Services for Elizabeth Engler, 79, of Hudson will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson 's Funeral Chapel in Lander. Pastor Ray Parkhurst will officiate and Ken Jones will be the speaker. Visitation will be from 3-7 at the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson 's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery under the direction of the Hudson 's Funeral Home of Lander.





Elizabeth Corbitt was born on April 7, 1930 at Columbus , Montana to Dennis Phillip Corbitt and Minnie Gerhardt. She grew up in Red Lodge, Montana and Cook City . Her father owned a ranch in Sunlight Basin . She enjoyed the winter and was an avid skier, and ice skater. She was gifted in several instruments and played by ear. She later met the love of her life, Carl Engler and together they raised their family in Montana and Hudson , Wyoming . Elizabeth was employed by the Wyoming State Training School for eight years and also worked for CDS for two years as a foster grand parent and volunteered as a sienor companion. She was dearly loved and will always be remembered for her wonderful spirit and will be greatly missed.





Elizabeth is survived by one daughter; Denise Stewart, of Red Lodge, Montana, two sons: Ed Engler, of Red Lodge, Montana and Carl Engler, of Hudson, Wyoming, two sisters; Lucille Kenny and Theresa Corbitt, both of Cody, Wyoming six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, one sister Margaret Rouane and a brother Bill Corbitt.
