Wayne Holden

Wayne Holden went to heaven on June 8, 2015. A Visitation will take place Friday, June 12 from 9:00 am-10:00 am at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home, Lander. Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, at 10:00am, and burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Lander.

He was born in Payson, Utah on November 2, 1934 to Alvin Peter Holden and Emma Jane Roberts Holden. Wayne attended school in Payson, Utah and he was a Coreman in the United States Army. Wayne married Nancy Balzly June 21, 1968 in Payson, Utah.

Survived by his wife, Nancy Jill Holden; his faithful little companion "Panda;" sons, Blake Holden (Crystal) and son Nakota of Lander; daughter, Justine and family of Lander; son, Dana Holden; grandsons, Jeremiah from Lander and Tyler from Texas; daughter, Nancy Holden of Lander; granddaughters, Kilynn Irvine of Lander, Jessica Denevan (Marty) of Lander and Everett and Shatyl; Cassidy (Abby) Irvine and Jonas and Noah; Brother-in-law, Layne Holden of Green River; and sister-in-law, Cherie and Roy Cooper.
He had 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.His words to his grandchildren "Don't take wooden nickels and be careful on those slick roads even if they are dry."

He was preceded in death by, his parents; in-laws Melva and Ed Balzly; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
