Funeral Arrangements have been made through Hudson's Funeral Home. A Visitation is set for Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the Blue Sky Hall. Visitation will then continue at the family home all night. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 17, 2014 also in the Blue Sky Hall. Burial will follow in the Wolfrang Family Cemetery.
Wallace was born at home on October 30, 1932 to Boat Wolfrang and Tillie Redman Wolfrang,and grew up in Johnstown Valley, Kinnear, Wyoming. He died on February 9, 2014 in Casper, Wyoming. As a young boy he spent his winters going to School at the St. Michaels Mission Boarding School and in the summer he went home to help his parents on the family farm.On January 7, 1952 he married Myrtle Louise Tyler, and they had two daughters: Alberta Little and Joann Wolfrang.
Wallace settled in Johnstown Valley and made his home there; he worked as a Ranch hand for numerous farms in the Morton, Kinnear, Midvale and Johnstown Valley area. He also worked for the Arapaho Housing as a laborer/carpenter; Ditch Rider for the BIA; Janitor for the Wind River High School and Blue Sky Hall.Later when his health limited him for physical labor he went to work for the Meals on Wheels program where he delivered food to the homebound.
Wallace enjoyed being outdoors, running his Greyhound dogs, hunting for Coons with his Brother Tony, and big game hunting with his Brothers, Nephews and Grandsons.He liked to listen to the "Wyoming Cowboys" on the radio, playing card games at his kitchen table, and attending the Wind River football games. He participated in the Northern Arapaho Sundance as a dancer/Grandfather/ Sponsor.He enjoyed being around all his Grandchildren.
He is survived by his Children: Alberta Tyler Little and husband Don Little their children Tara (Anthony Rudd Sr.), Anthony Jr. & Taran, Troy, Donita (Gordon) Fulwilder, Athena & Jaime Moss, Jolene (Ismael) Nicholas, Ismael Jr., Lori Thomas, Santee & Naveah, Joanne Wolfrang Tucker and husband Larry Tucker and their Children Kelly Tucker, Glenn Tucker, Eric Tucker, Howard Friday and Kathleen Crispin and daughter Margaret Friday, Velinda Friday and Children Ivan Twobulls Jr., Misty Haddenham & Barbara Haddenham, Samantha Thomas and Son Ivan Thomas (Octavian); Brother: Carlos Harris; Sisters: Ida Brown, Tina Day, Florence Redman; Nephews: Al Willow, Edward Friday, Phillip Friday, & Everett Eagle Sr., Charles Manderson; Nieces: Florita S. Eagle, Caroline Bowers, Roberta Whiteplume, Betty Friday, Dorothy Gambler & Anna Whitplume, & Niece in law: Marlene Piper Wolfrang; Grandchildren he raised: Amy Friday, Marcus Friday, Vana Warren, Everett Eagle Jr., Malcolm Bowers, Rhonda Bowers, Heather Friday, Myron Friday, & Samuel Friday; Other numerous Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren:, , Carol Friday, Lazara Sanchez- Broncho (Darrold Jr.), Alicia Sanchez, Caleb Sanchez, Darrold Broncho III,Joann Friday, Byron Friday, Jerald Friday, & Alfred Friday, Margaret Williams (Brian), Rochelle Mountain Freeman, Gibb Medicine Cloud, Christopher Friday, William Ferris, & Aaron Ferris. He was preceded in death by Parents: Boat and Tillie Wolfrang; Brothers: Anthony Wolfrang, Edwin, Lawrence & Marvin Harris; Sisters: Lillian S. Eagle, Cecelia Friday, Constance Shotgun, Patsy Harris; Nephews: Bradford Friday, Lawrence Friday, Carth Friday, Eugene Friday, Leonard Friday, Edward Eagle Sr., & David Wolfrang; Neices: Barbara Manderson, Millie A. Warren, Michelle Friday, & Catherine Friday; Grandchildren: Jason Tucker, Rosanna Manderson, Kenneth Friday, Anthony Medicine Cloud, Jimmy Mountain, & Pascual Sanchez Jr.; Great Grandchildren: Shaun A.
