Virginia Louise Thunder died Monday, December 29, 2014 at SageWest Health Care in Lander, WY.She was 78 years old.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete.Evening services and wake will be held at The Church of the Morning Star in Ethete at 7:00pm January 1, 2015.Burial will be at Armour Cemetery.
Virginia Louise Antelope was born July 17, 1936, in Fort Washakie, WY.She was the daughter of the (Late) Fred Antelope and Virginia Armour Antelope.
She attended St. Stephens School in her earlier years.She later attend schools in Chicago, IL and Glasgow, MT and received her LPN Certifications.She worked in various health care facilities in Wyoming, Washington, and Colorado.
She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandkids.While she was still physically able, she made bead work, quilts and attended powwows.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia; Sons Neil Crazy Thunder and Randy (Lynn) Olsen; Daughters Laurie (Shawn) Antelope, Rhonda (Larry) McCabe, Debra Antelope, and Michelle Wheeler; Sisters Rose Marie (Patton) Brown, Gloria (Philbert) Antelope, Winona Whiteplume, Mary Chase Alone, and Shirley Yellow Hair; Numerous grandchildren and extended families.
She was preceded in death by her father Fred; Sons Virgil Antelope and John Guthrie; Brothers Floyd Antelope, George Antelope, and Bruce Armour; Sisters Dorothy Wheeler, Florence Iron, Charlotte White, Mary Lou Oldman, Doris Wagon, Winnie Johnston, Stella Addison, and Myrtle Oldman; Uncles Martin Armour, Vernon Armour Sr., and Robert Armour Sr.; Grandparents Elmer & Betty (Friday) Armour, and George & Minnie Antelope.
