Virgil L. Miller

Virgil L Miller, 84, joined with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., finally at peace from Lewy Body disease. Mr. Miller died at home with his family by his side. The Family will receive visitors at the Bethel Lutheran Church located at the 626 Shoshone St, Lander from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, July 6th and the Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 pm.

He was born in Freeborn County, MN on May 24, 1932, baptized on July 3, 1932 and confirmed on May 5, 1946. Mr. Miller was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Lander, Wyoming. Virgil retired from the Postal Service in Bemidji, MN and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia "The Plant Lady" Miller; daughters, Lauri Miller(Dave), JoLayne Miller, Lynette How (Mike), and Dana Gunning(Alan); 6 grandsons, Zachary Harris, Levi How, Caleb How, Noah How, Samuel How, and Matthew Hampson; 2 granddaughters, Janaya Harris and Annabella Hampson, three brothers and two sisters.
