A cherished member of her community and a loving family member, Victoria's life will be celebrated with an all-night visitation from 7:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Michael’s Parish Hall, located at 622 Blue Sky Hwy, Ethete, WY. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Michael's Mission, with burial to follow at the Friday Cemetery in Ethete.
Victoria was born on March 13, 1960, to the proud parents, Laura (Whiteplume) Revere and Victor Revere Sr. As a beloved fourth-generation granddaughter of Chief Black Coal, she carried her heritage with pride throughout her life. She was an accomplished woman who took her education seriously, graduating from Mill Creek Elementary School before continuing her journey at Weber Basin Jop Corp in Ogden, Utah.
Throughout her career, Victoria devoted herself to serving others. She worked in various roles, from housekeeping in Casper and Cheyenne to being a dedicated firefighter, CNA, and EMT. Most recently, she found joy in her work as a baker at the Wind River Casino, where her love for crafting delightful treats brought smiles to many.
On April 4, 1997, Victoria married Lawrence Saunders in Las Vegas, Nevada, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Her legacy continues through her only son, Larry Reuben Saunders, who survives her. Victoria’s loving spirit remains alive in her brother, Leroy V. Revere; sister, Mary J. Whiteman; and her beloved brother-in-law, Clarence H. Saunders. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous grandchildren, whom she affectionately referred to as her "babies," along with several nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A true animal lover, Victoria provided a warm, nurturing home for many cherished pets, including birds, cats, dogs, fish, and her furry companions—Nigel the chinchilla and Jo-Jo the house-dog. Her German shepherd, Lilly, held a special spot in her heart.
Victoria is remembered fondly by her husband, Lawrence E. Saunders, her son, Larry Reuben Saunders, her brother, Leroy V. Revere, her brother-in-law, Clarence H. Saunders, and her sister, Mary J. Whiteman, along with her extended family, including all her nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the families of Saunders, Revere, Whiteman, Arthur, Blackbird, White, Zinski, Oldman, Foote, Moss, Pedro, Gould, Spoonhunter, Bethel, Carpenter, Martel, Thunder, Martinez, Logan, Wanstall, Schamp, Willow, Lucas, Anderson, NoiseyHawk, and Hendrick. She is preceded in death by her dear parents, Laura (Whiteplume) and Victor Revere Sr., as well as her siblings—Paul W. Revere Sr., Victor Revere Jr., Reuben J. Revere, Garrett S. Revere Sr., infant brother Michael T. Revere, Virginia L. Revere, Renee A. Sittingeagle, Marian J. Romaro, and Cynthia M. Brown.
In these challenging times, we express our heartfelt apologies if anyone is unintentionally left out. Victoria touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
