Vernon Cecil Dennis
Vernon Cecil Dennis was born on March 3, 1921 in Columbus Junction, Iowa to Cecil Guy Dennis and Nellie May Royle. On March 25, 1941 Vernon married Kathleen Lissman in the Methodist Church of Riverton, which is now the museum. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II serving in Okinawa.
He is survived by Doris (Earl) Reinert; Jerry (Barbara) Dennis; Lloyd Dennis; Linda (Don) Oman; Daniel (Kelli) Dennis; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cecil & Nellie Dennis.
His life was enhanced by his involvement in his church, and the restoring of antique vehicles.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 4:00p ? 7:00p at Hudson?s Funeral Home and Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 10:00a until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00a in the Hudson?s Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Hope, Lander. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
