Thomas "Fred" Wilson

November 16, 1931 — July 25, 2007

Funeral Services for Thomas ? Fred? Wilson, 75 will be held at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Hudson's Funeral Home. He died the evening of July 25th at his home.

Fred attended grades one through five at a country school. In order to continue his education near Gillette he would have had to board with someone in town, so the family bought a farm south of Hudson and he attended and graduated from school in Lander. Fred was drafted into the Army in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1956. He then worked at Hallam Chevrolet, Fremont County Road Dept. and Atlantic City Iron Ore Mine. After the closure of the mine he continued to support his family by operating a small ranch north of town and custom haying in the summer. Fred married Dorothy Cox June 5, 1957. He is survived by his wife, and sons, Douglas and wife Valorie, Jarrett and wife Beth, daughters, Sherrie and Fred Cox, Janet and Kevin Hart, Kayelene and Mark Heller, Linda and Pat Heller, and Amy and Casey Haase, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers Edward , Everett, Dee and sister Connie Helmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Phillip and Wade, 2 sisters, Viola Calvert and Betty Harvard, and 2 grandchildren.
