Thedosia Lea Killsontop

Thedosia Lee Killsontop "Teddi" was born on July 28, 1978, to the late Gary Lee Killsontop and Kathleen Jane Killsontop. Her Arapaho name was Wooteenii'ei – Black Bird Woman.

Teddi attended elementary and junior high school at Wyoming Indian Schools. She spent her freshman year at Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota and completed high school at Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma, where she graduated as salutatorian of her class in May 1996.

She attended Haskell Indian Nations University for one year before returning home. Teddi received her CNA license and worked at Morning Star Manor. She also worked as a flagger for United Rentals and later as a slot technician at the Wind River Casino, where she eventually became a supervisor. She later worked for the Northern Arapaho Tribe in the Finance and CSBG programs.

Teddi had three children: Payton J. Killsontop, Illyonna Eagle, and Jelawnie Eagle. She was a loving wife to Daryl Makeshine, and together they raised twins, Illyonna and Jelawnie. She loved watching them grow into their own smart, unique personalities. Teddi was a proud mother, beaming with pride over her children's accomplishments—especially when Payton graduated from Sherman Indian School.

Teddi was known for her kind, humble, and happy personality. She had many friends and loved family gatherings, joking, teasing, and playfully "terrorizing" her loved ones. She especially enjoyed getting massages from her children. Teddi will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A wake will be held at 1530 Elmwood Dr., Riverton, WY 82501, beginning the evening of Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and continuing until noon on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Immediately following, an additional all-night wake will be held at #4 Farm Station Rd., Ethete, WY, and will continue until the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Mission in Ethete, WY.
