Taylee Paige Dresser was born September 20, 2002 to Sami Dresser and the late Dustin Coando in Lander, Wyoming. Taylee was an enrolled member of the Northern Arapahoe Tribe and descendant of the Shoshone, Crow and Kiowa Tribes. She was currently employed with the Northern Arapaho Tribe Finance Department and took her job very serious; she applied herself in everything she did. At a very young age, Taylee was moved up an entire grade level due to the teacher’s concerns that she could no longer challenge her and that was the pace Tay kept up throughout her life. If you knew Taylee, you knew she was going to do great things and she proved it in the short time she was here. Tay also was a strong believer in her spiritual ways and jingle danced the majority of her life. She was a renowned hoop dancer and she competed in the world championship hoop dance in Arizona more than once; we give great tribute to Ann Abeyta for mentoring her in those ways. She was also featured in several documentaries; “Who She Was”, “What Was Ours", “Generational Warrior", “Wind River II" and “Modern Ep. Pandemic”.

Taylee enjoyed cooking, fishing, hiking, beading, dancing, attending concerts, playing board games, attending powwows, playing basketball, softball, participated in dance class at the Dance Academy and most importantly, spending time with her companion, Gregory. The family could always count on Taylee to help, that was just the type of person she was and she always made you feel special; she wasn't shy about letting you know she loved you. Taylee was very proud of being chosen to be Omaya’s Godmother and we looked forward to Omaya being guided in life by Taylee’s kindness but also her commitment to excellence and her work ethic, Taylee also had a special bond with her dachshund, “Scooby (preceded her in death), her cat, “Celsefer”, her and Greg’s dog, “Chop” and the family dog “Scruffy”.
