Sylvia June Miller, 63, of Lander, Wyoming died on May 18, 2018 at her home in Lander, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 636 Shoshoni Street in Lander, Wyoming.
Sylvia June Miller was born June 15, 1954 to Ole Martin and Lydia Jane Low in Bagley, Minnesota. Sylvia was a lady who had a vibrant and colorful spirit with a big personality. She loved sharing her creativity with everyone, camping, cooking, campfire cooking, her flower gardens, and the great outdoors. Some of her favorite pastimes were treasure hunting , repurposing, hosting craft sales, her annual plant/garage sale, and visiting her daughters and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was not timid about her faith. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil, siblings; Ruth Willberg, Thomas Ysen, and Samuel Ysen, parents; Ole Martin Ysen and Lydia Jane (Low) Ysen.
Survivors include her daughters; Lynette How (Cohasset, MN), Dana Gunning (Morongo Valley, CA), Lauri Miller (Colorado Springs, CO), and JoLayne Miller (Colorado Springs, CO), grandchildren; Zachary Harris, Janaya Harris, Levi How, Caleb How, Noah How, Samuel How, Matthew Hampson, and Annabella Hampson, sisters; Muriel Ranisate, Arline Jakeman, Nancy Thorson, and Mary Lou Ysen, several nieces and nephews, and special friend Bob Engstrom.
