Stephen Lee Cullers Jr.

Stephen Lee Cullers, Beloved and Devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and friend. peacefully went to the Lord in Heaven at the age of 53 on September 9, 2018 after a long battle with medical issues.
Stephen was born on May 27, 1965 in Warren, Ohio to Stephen and Catherine Cullers growing up in Tera Alta, West Virginia and at the age of 10 he moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Graduating from Alamogordo High School in 1983. Enlisted in the Army following High School then returning to Alamogordo in 1988.
Stephen enjoyed the running of heavy equipment and worked for Mesa Verde Enterprises for 10+ years to then take a job with the Federal Government at the US Department of Transportation as a Highway Engineer, traveling around various states doing what he loved to do. Steve Married Candi Roper-Cullers on May 25, 2013 and settled in Lander, Wyoming.
Throughout his life he was loving, caring and devoted to his family. His greatest joys were spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and following/watching his favorite football team the Pittsburg Steelers.
Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen Cullers Sr.(West Virginia); his beloved mother, Catherine Cullers (Alamogordo, NM); and one brother, Bryan James Cullers (Alamogordo, NM).
He is survived by his wife, Candi Roper-Cullers of Lander, WY; three children he called his own, Mark Gentile (Elizabeth) of Odessa, TX, Tylin Mason (Vince) of Lakewood, CO and Chad Mason (Alyssa) of Lander, WY; 5 grandchildren, Kylie, Kyle, Karly, Max and Eyan; two brothers, Kevin Cullers of La Mesa, TX, and Todd Cullers and his wife Kristi of Alamogordo, NM;nieces, Kristine LaVenture-Cullers, Lindsay Bonner-Cullers both of Heber City, UT, Megan Cullers, Dakota Cullers both of Alamogordo, NM; nephews, Chad Cullers (Carmen) of Lawton, OK.Kody Cullers (Paige), Trey Cullers, and Tyler Cullers all of Alamogordo, NM; great nieces/nephews, Conner, McKenzie, Bentley, Kayden, Raegan, Abram (Bam Bam) and Lillian; and numerous close friends.
Celebration of life Services will be held in Lander, WY on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00am at the First United Methodist Church and on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Alamogordo, NM at 3:00pm at the Alamo Moose Lodge Family Center.
