Shirley Elaine Latinis

Shirley Elaine Latinis passed on December 31, 2024 at her residence in Peoria Arizona where she lived since 2008 Shirley was born on September 21, 1937 in Fort Washakie, Wyoming to JB and Frances Wallace. She was one of two daughters.

Shirley worked at Teton drugstore, Nu Way café, and the Lander Journal. She was very active in her community. Shirley loved to bowl and was very active in the Lander theater. She had three children.

Shirley lived in Lander Wyoming most of her life. She was in a debilitating accident in 1969 that left her in and out of hospitals and rehab centers.She went to live with her parents and then her daughter Dalene, in Lander until 2008,  when she moved to Peoria Arizona to be close to her daughter Tucker and son Troy.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mom Frances  Wallace and her dad JB Wallace. She also just recently lost her sister and brother-in-law Estelle and Norm Halbert. Shirley is survived by her daughter Dalene Garza, daughter, Tucker Latinis and son Troy (Kathy) Latinis. She is also survived by grandchildren Brandi Garza, Taylor Latinis, Brianne Latinis (Mike)O'Connor and Jacob Latinis. She also has four great grandchildren Caitlyn, Ava, Finn, and Jaxson.

A memorial service will be held for Shirley, her sister Estelle,, and her brother-in-law Norm at Hudson's Funeral home in Lander on Tuesday, July 8 at 11 AM. The reception will be announced at that time. Food will be served. All are welcome to attend.
