In memory of Shandal Lorraine Revere, age 40, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 6, 2026, at BayCare Medical Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Shandal was born to her mother, Tana Kay (Starkey) Revere, and her father, Garrett S. Revere Sr. She was raised in Syracuse, New York, where she attended Henninger High School. After earning her GED, Shandal went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that reflected her caring and compassionate nature. Throughout her life, she worked in various customer service positions and, most recently, was employed at Dunkin’ Donuts in Tampa, Florida.
Shandal was a sweet soul who was outgoing and adored by many. She was a loving and devoted mother, a dedicated sister, and an excellent communicator. Her kindness, warmth, and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Shandal is survived by her companion and partner of fifteen years, Jerome; her beloved and only daughter, Lillian “Lilly” Revere; her sister, Shaylin K. Revere; her brother, Garrett S. Revere Jr.; her niece, Kayla M. Strong; her nephew, Gage Revere; her stepmother, Gayle Eastridge; uncles Leroy V. Revere, Terry Starkey, and Bob Starkey; aunt Mary J. Whiteman; and many cousins and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tana K. Starkey Revere; her father, Garrett S. Revere Sr.; her grandparents, Starkey; her grandparents Victor Revere Sr. and Laura (Whiteplume) Revere; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Mount Hope at Hudson’s Funeral Home, located at 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, Wyoming, 82520, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A church service will be held at St. Michael’s Mission at Our Father’s House on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Friday Cemetery in Ethete.
