Rosita Joyce Willow, 71, a lifelong resident of Ethete, Wyoming. She passed away on January 24, surrounded by her family in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Rosita Willow was born on May 19, 1954, in Lander, Wyoming. Her mother was Ada Brown, and her father was George WallingBull. She was enrolled in the Northern Arapaho Tribe. Her Indian name was Bih’in Nooke. Rosita was married to Richard Willow Sr. She was a respected medicine woman who lived and practiced in ceremonial ways. She loved sewing, beading, coloring, and watching TV, like staying updated on Young & The Restless. All above, she cherished spending time with her family and staying connected with loved ones. Rosita is survived by her daughters and sons, Joanna (Joseph) Oldman, Aimee (Dale Ray Sr.) C’Hair, Mary Friday, Samantha Friday (Jerry Redman), Andrea Afraid of Hawk, Sacheen (Shawn) Brown, Steve Lanwermeyer; sisters & brothers, Bonnie Jo WallingBull (Jared SunRhodes), Rita Brown, Mary Jane Whiteman, Marilyn Eagle, Jolene Quiver, George “Dale” WallingBull, Richie WallingBull, Patrick (Shantell Cady) WallingBull; grandkids, Richard Whiteman, Drew Chavis, Kianna (Will) Hill, Mountain Rain WallowingBull, Tristan Oldman, Terance Oldman, Singing Brook Willow, Atlee Redman, Anntoneya Redman, Sebastian Redman, Dale Ray Jr., Jordan C’Hair, Jaiden Rain C’Hair, Zay C’Hair, Caleb & Kylee Whiteman; great-grandkids, Mason & Joseph Gonzalez, Christina Chavis, Amelia Chavis, Caledon Chavis, James Whiteman, Zayin Hill, Jaeli Hill, Joli Lamebear, Drew Sky Oldman, Dale Ray C’Hair III; extended family, Jared & Josephine WallingBull & kids, Elsie Marquez & kids, Andy Hutchinson, Phoenix Marquez, Joey WallingBull, Whisper Lee Hebah, and The Valdez families. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Richard G. Willow Sr.; mother, Ada Brown; father, George WallingBull Sr.; son, Kenneth (Kojak) Whiteman; nephew, George WallingBull III; aunt, Mary Ella Valdez, Arlene Brown; sisters, Verdonna Valdez, Becky Hutchinson; brother, Darrell Hutchinson; uncles, Burton & Earl Hutchinson; grandson, Christopher Hunter Chavis.
