Rosella Marie Moss

Rosella was born on October 22, 1954 to Rosie Bitner Moss and Herman Joseph Moss Sr. Her adopted parents were Wyoma and Moses Paul Moss Sr. Her Godparents were Mike and Mabel Vinich. She passed away at SageWest Hospital in Lander, Wyoming.
She was raised in Hudson and later moved to Ethete. She lived most of her life on the Wind River Reservation and was baptized Catholic. She was an enrolled member of the Northern Arapahoe Tribe and also a Gold Star Sister (PFC Weldon Dale Moss KIA in Vietnam).
Rosella enjoyed beading, traveling, listening to gospel music and her favorite country singer George Strait. She was a big fan of the Wyoming Indian Chiefs and watching her grandchildren by showing up for their sport games and wrestling meets. She liked going to and watching rodeos. Her favorite places to eat were El Sol and the Hamburger Stand She had raised numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also liked to attend pow-wow and camp meetings with family.
Rosella places of employment are deli worker for Hines General Store, lifeguard for Hot Springs, House Parent for the Circle of Love, House attendant for the Women’s shelter a housekeeper in Yellowstone, Housekeeper for Westward Heights, a teacher for the Early headstart Program and CHR transporter for the Northern Arapahoe tribe.
Rosella is survived by her children, Winston (Teresa) Jorgenson, Rozeanne Jorgenson, Kenneth Jorgenson, Preston Jorgenson, Edgar (Elizabeth Faye)Jorgenson, Santee Moss; she raised two of her granddaughters as her own, Marina and Natalyia Jorgenson; adopted sons, Austin J. Hill, Fincillius Jorgenson, Skeeter Engavo, and Sheldon Callaway Sr.; siblings, Susanna Oldman, Nelson and Emma Moss, Ursula and Robert Aragon Sr., Patrick Moss, Donald Moss, and Maxine Moss; bestie, Judy Shine Tidzump; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and favorite pug puppy Paul.
Rosella is preceded in death by her parents, adopted parents, Godparents; the father of her children, Arvin Jorgenson; sons, Ronald D. Moss, Rodney Jorgenson, James Jorgenson; adopted son, Warren Jorgenson; grandsons, Rodney Jorgenson III, Tristen Jorgenson, Angel baby Moss; brothers, Kendall Moss Sr., Leonard R. Moss Sr., PFC Weldon Dale Moss, Medrick Moss Sr., Herman J. Moss Jr., Alonzo Moss Sr., Norman Moss, Raphael Moss, Harold Moss, Richard Moss, Charles Moss, John Pius Moss; sisters, Victoria Moss-Friday, Delores Moss, Eileen C’Bearing, Tekawitha SunRhodes, Julia Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Denise Aragon, Anita Carrier, Gloria Wheeler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
