Ronald “Ronnie” Everett Snyder Jr., 68, of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, passed away on May 25, 2026.
After attending Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI), Ronnie embraced a life filled with adventure and exploration. He loved traveling, discovering new places, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in the mountains, where he found peace, freedom, and happiness. Ronnie will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, deep appreciation of the outdoors, and the many cherished memories he created with family and friends throughout his life.
Ronnie is survived by his siblings, Lorena, Roy (Tom), and Nancy; his children, Travis, Ronald, and Mindy; and his beloved granddaughter, Rosslyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Birdstail and Ronald Snyder Sr., as well as his siblings.
A wake will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson’s Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, Wyoming 82520.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 468 Ethete Road, Ethete, Wyoming 82520.
The family extends its sincere gratitude to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, Hudson’s Funeral Home, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and its staff, and to all family and friends for their support, kindness, and prayers during this difficult time.
