Roland Yellowbear, 80, of Ethete, Wyoming passed away on April 25, 2018 at the Morning Star Care Center in Fort Washakie. There will be an All-Night wake at the family home located at #1 Thunder Lane in Ethete on Sunday, April 29th starting at 5:00 p.m. The Fu-neral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30th at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete, with a burial will follow at St. Michaels Mission Cemetery.
Roland Yellowbear was born August 30, 1937 to Martha Yellowbear White and Joseph Antelope Sr. He was raised by Chester and Mabel Yellowbear.
He is survived by his son, John Lee Yellowbear; daughter, Truvy Smalls; brothers and sisters, Joetta Antelope-Brown, Benjiman An-telope, Eloise Yellowbear and family, Fedelia Overberg, Elizabeth Yellowbear and Family, Lorrina Yellowbear and family, Byron Yel-lowbear Sr. and Family, Vincent Yellowbear Sr. and Family; aunt, Joyce Hutchinson and family; nieces and nephews, Sonny BadHawk, Ronald (Cierra) White, Chester White, Calvin White, Dexter (Nemo) WallowingBull, Aaron WallowingBull, Adrian Wal-lowingBull; Andrea (Guy) Oldman, Alvena (Collins) Little Whiteman, Melvena (Rusty) Oldman, Mamie (Jacob) BadHawk, Carrie White Antelope; extended family, Antelope, White, Groesbeck, WallowingBull, Brown and Piper.
