Robert O. Strebe, a resident of the Wyoming Life Resource Center (formerly the Wyoming State Training School) in Lander died on Saturday, July 31, 2010. He was 62.
A Memorial service is at 2 p.m. on Tuesday August. 10, in the Wyoming Life Resource Center Chapel.
Robert Orlo Strebe was born at Saint Mary's Hospital in Marquette, Mich., on Feb. 11, 1948.
He first lived at the Wyoming Life Resource Center from 1955 until moving to ARK Regional Services in Laramie in 1993. He returned to the Wyoming Life Resource Center in 2007 and resided at 107 Meadowview.
His family said Mr. Strebe had a fondness for most animals.
He worked at the Emerson building and colleagues said he enjoyed many recreational activities.
Mr. Strebe was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fred Strebe, and mother, Irene Bopp Strebe.
He is survived by sisters, Darlene Strebe Brown, Ida Mary Strebe Vandeweerd, Gwenis Strebe, and Kathryn Cedulaski Nees, who served as his legal guardian; brothers, Donald Strebe and Verne Strebe.
