Robert James Jensen
2/11/1969-5/17/2025
Rob Jensen, affectionately known as Bubba or Uncle Robo, passed away on May 17, 2025.
Rob was well loved by his family and friends. He always had advice to give, and a story to tell- whether you wanted to hear it or not.
From a young age, Rob became a rock for his parents. He was very devoted to them and to his family. Everyone was family to him. He was the ring leader for the Wilson street gang and always made sure every kid in the neighborhood was having fun. Whether it was playing Kick The Can, No Bears Out Tonight or making ramps to jump bikes over, he always had fun up his sleeve.
In his youth, Rob was active in the church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He served as an alter boy for many years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In school, Rob enjoyed playing soccer and his trombone. He did well with both and especially excelled playing in the Jazz band for his beloved mentor and teacher, Mr. Bekken. He was very into music and would stop at nothing to head out to a concert, especially seeing his favorite band, Kiss.
Rob was a talented artist. Whether it involved making pottery, a bronze statue or a t-shirt, Rob had a very artistic and creative ability about him.
He loved cars and motorcycles. He spent many years painting cars and later selling them. He could fix just about anything on a car without hesitation. Cruising main in one of his cars or cruising around on his bike were things he enjoyed in his younger years.
In his later years, he was the best friend and caregiver to his father, Floyd. They had a very special bond. They enjoyed each others company to the fullest.
Rob is proceeded in death by his loving mother, Mary. Rob is survived by his best friend and father, Floyd. His brother, Joe and wife Lacey, and their children, Samuel and Sydney. His sister Cat and her children, Zacharie and Simon. Shadoe Jensen, many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as many beloved coworkers through the years and his friends both near and far.
While Rob's time on this earth was cut short, his memory will live on to all who knew him, especially Floyd.
In Rob's memory, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
Cremation has taken place. A family burial on May 24 will lay Rob to rest alongside his mother. A funeral mass at Holy Rosary will be said at a later date. A celebration of life for Rob will be held with details pending.
