Robert Arthur Hamilton, 61, of Lander, Wyoming died on April 15, 2018 at SageWest Hospital in Lander, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 in the Chapel at the Wyoming Life Resource Center.
Robert Arthur Hamilton was born June 12, 1956 to Charles Ernest Hamilton and Mary Kathryn Gaskins Edson in Riverton, Wyoming. Bob Hamilton fell asleep in the morning of April 15, 2018 at SageWest hospital in Lander, Wyoming.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kathryn (Gaskins) Edson; Charles Ernest Hamilton; and his uncle, Howard Skidmore. He is survived by his two elder sisters; Martha (Mark) Russell and Susan (Howard) Skidmore.
Bob had many medical issues and resided at the Wyoming Life Resource Center starting January 9, 1959. At the Center he received excellent care and learned many things. Some of his favorite things were a cup of coffee, easy listening music, and his recliner.
In July of 1968, Bob was transferred to the Wyoming State Hospital. He resided there until September 11, 1995, at which time he returned to the Wyoming Life Resource Center. His mother said this was the best day of her life, and his too.
Bobs life was never easy, but he was always in our hearts. We have great confidence that he is loved by God, and finally at peace.
