Robert Asher Deveraux was born September 13, 1959, in Casper, Wyoming to Ray and Kay (Satterfield) Deveraux. He left this earth on Saturday, October 24th, while in the wonderful care of the Lander Regional Hospital.
To all he was lovingly known as Bobby. He was a Wyoming native; born in Casper with his home being Lander from the age of three. He resided at the Wyoming State Training School and later Community Entry Services homes. He enjoyed Special Olympics, watching All Star Wrestling, fishing, eating chocolate cake, telling stories and taking pictures.
Bobby leaves behind his dad Ray Deveraux and wife Eva of Greeley, Colorado; a brother Joe and JoAnne also of Greeley; two sisters, Mary Kay Deveraux and Jann Demaske and husband Jeff, all of Windsor, Colorado. He was the special uncle of two nieces Madie and Lizzy Demaske and two nephews Benjamin Schrader and Danny Deveraux.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Kay Deveraux and both sets of grandparents.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to family, friends and the wonderful people of Community Entry Services, Lander Regional Hospital, and the Wyoming State Training Center for all their support, love and prayers and would like everyone to remember the saying, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
Funeral services: Wyoming Life Resource Center "Wyoming State Training School" Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29. Interment immediately following at the WSTS Cemetery.
