Robert L. Benda of Hudson, Wyoming died in Lander on November 29, 2017. There will be a visitation at 9:00 am in the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudsons Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow, starting at 10:00 am.
Robert was born on May 15, 1937 in Verdigre, Nebraska to Louis Benda and Albina Stavinoha Benda.
He married Jeanette M. Bauer on November 30, 1957 in Fort Pierre, South Dakota and then they moved to Wyoming in 1960.
Robert is survived by his son Randy (Rachel) Benda of Hudson and Larry Benda of Lander. Daughter Debbie (Bub Parker of Hudson, and four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Benda and his parents.
Robert was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed family time, gardening, and enjoyed hunting to the fullest with his family and friends.
