Ager, 60, died suddenly at his home on December 29, 2013.
Richard was born February 14, 1953 in Ottawa, Canada. After attending a graduate
program in journalism at Carleton University in the early 1980's Richard found his
passion for TV journalism. He then embarked on an accelerated career path of on-

1990. His obvious skills and talents landed him in many prestigious television positions
including work at WGBH Boston, The Christian Science Monitor Television Network
Boston, New Hampshire Public Television and Radio and, finally, Wyoming Public
Television in January of 2012. When not working, Richard loved to travel and explore
both his local areas and abroad, was a gourmand – he loved and appreciated good food,
both which he made or was served, and was an avid reader and movie buff.
Family and friends were also of the utmost importance to Richard and he spent much
of his free time producing video keepsakes of their lives and/or wonderful visits of
time spent with them. In his immediate family he is survived by his wife of almost 30
years, Renee Meyer, also formerly of Ottawa, Canada, and his two sons Robert (18) and
Reese (12). He is also survived by his beloved siblings, Donna Ager (Keith
MacLellan), Sheila Ager, Andrew Ager, Patricia Binney (Ray Theriault), Richard
Binney; his aunt Elizabeth Teed and brother-in-law Scott Meyer (Bernadette Fuerth).
