Richard Louis Addison Jr.

Richard "Richie" Louis Addison Jr., "Blue Star" 69 of Boulder Flats, Wyoming passed away on August 9, 2021 at Sage West Hospital in Lander WY. Richie was born to Richard L Addison Sr and Winifred Theresa Armour on May 23, 1952 in Ft Washakie, WY. He was an enrolled member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, and was raised by his maternal grandparents Martin and Susan Armour in Ethete, Wyoming.

Richie attended schools in Lander and graduated from the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 20, 2001 earning a degree in Business Administration. He attended ISU earning a Mechanic Certificate. He worked at Grandpa Martins gas station in the early 70's, a landscaper, handyman, mechanic and worked with Indian Health Services as a laborer He enjoyed the outdoors and being in the mountains. Richie was an avid hand drum maker using the hides he tanned himself, he enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He touched the lives of many with his quick sense of humor and giving a helping hand where needed,

Richie is survived by sisters: Arlene Santillanes, Cheryl Santillanes, Sharon Wagon, Brenda Johnston, Beverly Denipah, Betty (William) Mathews, Darlene (Hector) Longoria, and Alma (Eugene) Piper.

Brothers: Joseph Richard Addison, Donny Wagon, Allan (Zedora) Enos. Floyd Hokie (Rita) Phillips, Mike Grey Wolf (Wanda) Garvin

Families: Tillman, Shoyo, Guina, Phillips, Garvin, Addison, Antelope, Coulston, Willow, Armajo, Friday, Bragg, Mathews, Blackburn and  Gould and Jimmie families of Idaho Friends: Verbie James, Toni Whipple, Brian Berkley, and Alexander Cigale.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Grandparents, Companion Bertha Snipe, Stepson Toby Tissisimit, Marie Armajo, Marjorie Tillman, Millie Guina.

Sisters: Peggy Sue Addison, Susan Johnston, Verna Wilson, Jeanne Armour,

Brothers: Gary, Mike, Donnie, Dave Wagon, Randy Wilson, Thomas White.

Aunts/Uncles: Shirley Yellow Hair, Charlotte White, Mary Oldman, Doris Wagon and Martin Armour Jr., Betty Armour.

Services: Wake Thursday August 12 405 Blue Sky Highway, Ethete, Wyoming, Traditional Services Officiated by Stanford DeVinney Friday August 13, 2021 same residence, Burial #91 Boulder Flat Road, Lunch to follow at Rocky Mountain Hall.
