Raymond N. Johnson, 74, of Lander, Wyoming died on January 24, 2017 in Lander, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday January 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Mount Hope at Hudson's Funeral Home.
Raymond Johnson was born on July 23, 1942 to Edward J. and Mildred O. Johnson in Kearney, Nebraska. Raymond graduated from Morton High School in 1962 where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. Family was very important to him. He received the most joy from taking his sons hunting and fishing, then passing this on to his grandkids. He did enjoy teaching his driving skills to his sons and grandsons. His biggest devotion was to his wife Bonnie with 54 years of marriage. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and quick witted sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who came to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward J. and Mildred O. Johnson; brothers, Richard and Bill; sister, Betty; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie of 54 years; sons, Raymond Perry (Paula), Robert Arnold (Jill), and Craig Nolan (Rhonda); grandchildren Zach, Nick (Carrie), Brandon (Whitney), Christopher, Randy, Trevor, Jack, and Ashli; four great-grandchildren, Breydon, Annabella, Lindsey, and Averie.
