Patsy Rivord

Patsy (Staberg) Rivord (90) passed away peacefully in Lander, Wyoming on
September 27, 2024. Born and raised in Redby, Minnesota to Henrik Staberg
and Helen Dietrich. Patsy lived in South Range, Wisconsin, for approximately 20
years and resided in Lander, Wyoming for the past 49 years. She married Walter
Rivord on April 16, 1955. They spent 69 years happily married and building a
family together.
Patsy was the cornerstone of her family. She was a loving mother and
grandmother. She loved to cook and bake for her family. She enjoyed spending
time with her family, especially with children. Patsy enjoyed visiting with others
and being outside. She spent many years working at the Lander Hospital.
Patsy was preceded in death by her 2 brothers and 3 sisters, son-in-law Randy
Bergstrom, and grandson Scott Edward Bergstrom. She is survived by her
husband Walter, son Allen (Jean) Rivord of Lake Nebagamon, WI, daughter
LuAnn Bergstrom of Lake Nebagamon, WI, daughter Nan (Jeff) Edlund of
Lander, WY, son Mark (Clayleen) Rivord of Laramie, WY, eight grandchildren and
many great-grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
