Pamela Jean Reiter

Pamela J. (Bates) Reiter was given life by her Creator on June 16, 1949, the daughter of Richard C. and Ruth M. (Ansell) Bates. She was baptized into Christ on September 19, 1954, and united with Gary L. Reiter in holy matrimony on March 9, 1974. God blessed them with five children - Andrew, Audrey, Amy, Rev. Ahren, and Zachary - and later, eight beautiful grandchildren. The Lord brought many special people into her life as she faithfully served in her home, church, and community. On April 14, 2026, she was peacefully called to her eternal rest in the arms of Jesus. Pam is survived by her husband, children, and sister Kathie (Rev. Tony) Sawick. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael, and sister Constance. “Well done, good and faithful servant … enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." (Matthew 25:23)

Visitation will be held from 6-7pm, April 23, at Hudson’s Funeral Home, Lander, WY. Pam’s funeral service will begin at 10am, Friday, April 24, 2026, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 626 Shoshone St, Lander, WY. Fellowship and reception will be provided at Bethel following internment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
