Nathan (John) Boyd, 72, of Lander, Wyoming died on August 8, 2015 at the home of his daughter, Lynne Davis. As per his wishes there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
John was born March 19, 1943 to Nathan L. Boyd and Loretta P. Boyd in Trenton, Nebraska.
John ran heavy equipment for Gilpatrick, Brasel and Sims. He worked for Searle Brothers Const., which led him to start Boyd Trucking. John later owned and operated Big Dog Trucking and Trenching.
John enjoyed hunting and fishing and was involved in chariot racing for many years. His greatest passion was driving the big trucks.
John is survived by his children, Lynne Davis of Lander, Nathan John Boyd Jr of Stanwood WA, Brenda (Roger) Maxson and Terri Williams of Riverton; his dog Willy; sisters, Janice (Tom) Murray of Nelson, NE and Paula (Leland) Bush of Yakima, WA; brother Kent (Joan) Boyd of Arlington WA; grandchildren Boyd, Kaleb (Karen) and Trenton Jones, Christina (Steven) and Melissa (Shane) Lesher, Chuck (Jena) and BJ Williams; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Gayle Armstrong, brother Tom Boyd and son in law Ed Davis.
