Michael Andrew DeKing, 43, a son, brother, husband, father, and a respected business man died
September 26

2009 as a result of a one vehicle accident.
Michael was born November 15
th
1965, in Aurora, Illinois to Tom and Mary Lou DeKing. They later
moved to Lander, Wyoming in 1981.
Michael enjoyed his Family, Hunting, Snowmobiling, Camping, Motorcycles, furniture making, spending
time in the mountains, and was a devoted Green Bay Packer Fan since childhood.
He began his career in concrete when he was 17 years old, and later started his business DeKing Concrete Construction. His hard work and dedication made him a valuable and respectable asset to the community. He also shared "Tom's Wild Game Processing" with his Dad, since 1984.
Michael met and married Christine Appleby, July 23,1984. With their marriage they brought three children into the world. Michael (24), Devin (23), and Melissa (20). They later divorced.
Michael then met Denalynn Burnett, August 17,1992. They had a daughter Drew Elizabeth (12), and
they later married March 4, 2004.
Michael was a great son, brother, devoted husband, father, uncle, great uncle, and nephew.
He had a strong belief in the Lord.
His greatest blessings Mike is survived by his wife Dena, Children, Michael, Devin, Melissa, Drew, Tyson, and Kayla. His parents, Tom and Mary Lou DeKing, brother, Curly (Tammy) DeKing of Stephenson, Ml, Sisters, Sheri DeKing and Lori DeKing(Bo Quiver), both of Lander,WY. Numerous Nieces and Nephews,
Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. In-laws Danny and Cindy Edwards,of Lander, WY, sister-in-law Shawna(Jason)LeBeau, of Riverton, WY, brother-in-law Chad Edwards of Lander, WY. Grandparents Don and Ardis Johnson, of Lander, WY. He was preceded in death by Maternal and Paternal Grandparents,
Uncles, Chuck DeKing, and Bill Assell, and Great-Nephew Myron Perry Jr.
Service will be held at Lander Community Center on Thursday October 1, at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tyson Iiams, Michael DeKing, Ryan and Cody DeKing, Keagan and Aaron Pedlar, Bull Armajo, and Kevin Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers are Bo Quiver, Jason LeBeau, and Matt Tschannen.
