Matthew Myron Bishop, 26, died on April 20, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born October 26, 1991 in Miles City, Montana to Myron and Kathy (Anderson) Bishop. When he was 10 months old he moved with his family to Havre, Montana. In 1999 he and his family moved to Lander, Wyoming and this is where he called home until his death.
He was known for his quick wit and a smile that would light up a room. Matthew always had a positive outlook on life which he would share with others. He would often sing snd dance and with his sense of humor he would have everyone happy and feeling better. He enjoyed going to the mountains which he learned to appreciate with his family during all their camping trips. Whenever he could, he would ride his BMX bike with his best friend and brother Aaron. His creative mind helped him to form a love of drawing and cooking and had the dream of becoming a chef. His children were his life and they loved being with him. He was always happiest around them.
Matthew is survived by his three children Ayden Meier (Dickinson, ND), Brailey and Maddison Bishop (Lander, WY). His father and mother Myron and Kathy Bishop (Lander, WY). His brothers Ryan, Aaron (Jessie) Bishop (Lander, WY) Nathan (Amanda) Bishop (Rapid City, SD) and his sisters Corrie Bishop (Dickinson,ND), Nicole, Courtney, and Kayla Bishop (Lander, WY) and his sister-in-law Teresa Bishop (Thompson Falls, MT). His grandmothers Gloria Bishop and Mary Anderson. He also has numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Bishop and his grandfathers Melvin Bishop and Richard Anderson.
