Mary Oldman
Funeral Services for Mary Oldman, 68, of Ethete will be held on Monday, July 6, at 10:00 AM at the Blue Sky Hall in Ethete. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at the Blue Sky Hall followed by an all night wake at her home 594 Ethete Road. Burial will be in the Friday Cemetery under the direction of the Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander.
Mary (Armour) Oldman was born on August 3, 1940 at Lander, Wyoming to Martin and Susan (Harris) Armour. She grew up in Ethete and attended school at Mill Creek and later graduated from the Lander Valley High School. She was united in marriage with John Oldman, and the couple resised in Ethete. Mary was a lifelong resident of Ethete. She worked at the Wyoming State Training School, the Fort Washakie Dental office the Wind River Casino and also was a CHR for a number of years.
Mary enjoyed reading, books, puzzles and sewing as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John of Basin, WY a daughter Betty Mathews and her husband William, nieces Bev Denipah, Verna Wilson, Susan Johnston, Sharon Wagon, Arlene Santillanes, Cheryl Willow, Brenda Niedo, Alma Walks, Darlene Johnston, Rhonda McCabe and Debra Kay Antelope. Nephews; Randy Wilson, Richard Addison and Tom White III, Sisters; Doris Wagon, Charlotte White, Winnona Whiteplume, Mary Chase Alone, Louise Thunder, Gloria Antelope and Shirley Yellowhair, one brother; Burton Hutchinson and an aunt, Virginia Antelope grandchildren; Leslie Mathews, Will Mathews III and Phillip Mathews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Winnefred Johnston and Betty Armour and one brother, Martin Armour Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
