Mary Helen Bell

August 1, 1924 — May 15, 2019

Mary Helen Bell, age 94 and a resident of Lander since 1962, passed away on May 15, 2019 with family by her side.

Mary enjoyed family, gardening, horses, hunting and camping with her husband in the Wyoming mountains. In her later years, she enjoyed Swedish weaving and crocheting afghans.
Our mother was a devout Christian, a very strong woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother and had a great sense of humor.

She was born to Tollie and Ella Shubert in Tell, TX where she was raised and later met Leonard Clayton Bell. They were married on July 13, 1940 in Hollis, OK and remained married for 65 years, until Leonard Claytons death in 2015.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Todd Shubert; 2 grandsons, Travis and Joshua Archambault and one great grandson, Remington Archambault.
She is survived by her 5 daughters; Evelyn Johnson, Linda Burgess, Gail Loper, Betty Bell and Billie (Archambault) Seerley; brother, Tom Shubert; and a total of 21 surviving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mary will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 5PM until 7PM at Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, WY., and on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 1PM at the same location. Graveside services will follow the Tuesday visitation.
