Mark Kay Bennett

Mark Kay Bennett passed away peacefully in his home on December 21, 2023.

Mark was born on September 25, 1963. He attended Northside Grade School, Starret Jr. High, and Lander Valley High School. Mark started working at Lander Standard Service station when he was 15. He worked many years at the Wyoming State Training School and several years as a custodian at Baldwin Creek Elementary School. He played baseball as a kid and liked to hunt and fish with his dad. They took many pheasant hunting trips to the Damme's family in Nebraska. They also enjoyed the National Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas whenever they could. Mark loved football, he was the most loyal Minnesota Vikings fan there has ever been. He also loved NASCAR (Dale Jr.), and he took several trips to the NASCAR races in Las Vegas with his friends. He also liked to golf. Mark had many friends at the Silver Spur, they treated him like family there.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother: Jeremy Scott Bennett and his parents: Leslie Kay and Ila Ann Bennett.

He is survived by his sisters: Kelli Jones and Jill (Scott) Sweglar, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no service for Mark at this time per his request. There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date when all of his family can be there.

The family wants to thank everyone for their love and prayers at this difficult time.
