Marilyn McDonald, 80, of Lander, passed away June 11, 2016 at the Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home.
Marilyn Faye McDonald was born April 23, 1936 to George La Mont Hallock and Marian Fox Hallock in Lander, Wyoming.
Marilyn loved and lived for family and friends. She was a hard worker and always put others before herself. She was born, raised and graduated in Lander, Wyoming; her home town; though she lived in various other places. She and her husband Judd owned and operated Judd's Grubb (and Marilyn's elbow grease) for 23 years. She was a well-loved member of her community and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed the changing colors of all the seasons, particularly the brilliance of autumn.
She was preceded in death by her father, George La Mont Hallock; mother, Marian Larsen and stepfather, Quinten Larsen; previous husband, Dallas Morgan; and son, Waid Allen Morgan.
Survivors include her husband, Judd McDonald; four siblings, Jerry White, Georgia Presgrove, Virginia Isabell and Mike Larsen; three children, Linda Faye Darnell-Morgan, Ward Morgan and Warren Morgan; four step-children, Renee, Kelly, Vickie and Judd. She had 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
