Marge B. Lyons
Marge was born September 5, 1936 in Carbondale, IL and passed away in her home in Lander on August11, 2007. She was born to Clarence and Helen Borger. She stayed and was raised in Carbondale graduating from Carbondale Community High School then she attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She married Jim Lyons on September 1, 1957.
She moved to Lander with husband and family in December 1973 and loved being able to see the Mountains all around her.
Marge enjoyed collecting Dept. 56 and Williamsburg houses, along with Teddy Bears. She was an excellent quilter, and was buried with one of the family?s favorite quilts, made by her.
She was extremely loved by her family and will be dearly missed because she was devoted to them all.
Survivors include: husband, Jim Lyons of Lander; son, Mike (Christie) Lyons of Lakewood, CO; daughter, Laurie (Eric) Barcaskey of Eagan, MN; sister, Juanita (Jack) Gripp of Westfield, IN; and 2 Grandchildren Erin and Ben Barcaskey of Eagan, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family wishes to thank Hospice Chaplain Sally Megeath for her time and energies spent on their behalf.
Services have already been held. Arrangements were made with Hudson?s Funeral Home.
