Marcinda L. Gardner, 27, of St. Stephens, Wyoming died on August 4, 2015 in Riverton, Wyoming. A Funeral Service and Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at St. Stephens Mission Catholic Church with Father Phil Wagner with interment at Bushyhead Cemetery. A Rosary and Wake will be held at 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Great Plains Hall. Services are under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home.
Marcinda LaFawn Gardner was born July 4, 1988 in Riverton, Wyoming. She was the daughter of Francinda Wallowingbull and Marcus Gardner Sr. Marcinda's hobbies included playing sports, volleyball, basketball; participating in Pow-Wows and watching her brother and daughters dance. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, laughing, terrorizing and cruising with them and following her traditional ways.
She is survived by her father, Marcus Gardner; mother, Francinda Wallowingbull, companion, Dalen Spoonhunter; daughters, Aiyana and Tehya Spoonhunter; brothers, Marcus Jr., Tristan, Maurice "Moe" Gardner, Jesse Cardinal, James Gardner Jr.; along with the following families, Bushyhead, Whites, Goodman, Groesbeck, Hutchinson, Jenkins, Littleshield, C'Bearing, Roman, Dewey, Wallowingbull, Smiths, Yellowplume, Trumbell's, Warren's, Quiver, Friday, Hazelwood and Ridgely.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Clayton and Evangeline Wallowingbull; aunts, Joanne A. Wallowingbull, Donna M. Wallowingbull; sister, Tara Wallowingbull; uncle, Leroy Wallowingbull and Lloyd Tater Wallowingbull; grandfather, Issac Jenkins; grandmother, Margaret Washington; step-grandfather, Francis Washington; grandfathers Joseph Bushyhead (Theresa Goodman), Mervin Bushyhead, Peter Bushyhead, George Jenkins, John Goodman, William C'Bearing, Linus C'Bearing; uncles, Sherman Jenkins, Kenny Jenkins, Clairence Jenkins, Floreitta Jenkins, Joann; grandmothers, Birdshead, Marget Littleshield, Madeline Spoonhunter, Areadla Spoonhunter and Lucy Wallowingbull.
