Marcella "Marcy" Dickinson

March 18, 1952 — January 3, 2015

Marcella "Marcy" Dickinson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her adoring family on January 3, 2015 at the age of 62.

Marcy was born in Riverton, Wyoming on March 18, 1952 to Claude and Rose (Cassingham) Moore. She spent her childhood in Riverton and Butte, Montana before moving to Lander where she graduated high school. She worked and operated the Maverick motel and restaurant for many years with her husband Joe. Later, she opened a consignment store, The Barn, with her longtime friend Charlene.

Marcy was a caring and selfless wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful and devoted woman who will be missed by all who knew her or had the pleasure of hearing her infectious laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard, attending auctions, and most of all, watching her grandson Noah play sports.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joe Dickinson; her daughter Shannon Peschio and husband David; her son Shane Dickinson and wife Kimberlee; and her beloved grandson Noah Peschio. She is also survived by her sister Yogondia Potts and brothers Gary and Ross Moore.

Marcy was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Rose and her stepfather Byron Shepardson.
As per her wishes, no funeral service will be held.
