Lorinda Sonya Amboh passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2016 in Yakima, Washington. A visitation will be held at 5pm on Sunday, May 15th at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home with a wake to follow at the Eddie Amboh Residence located at #329 Old Wind River Highway in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Monday, May 16th at Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie, Wyoming and Interment will be at Sacajawea Cemetery, Fort Washakie, Wyoming.
Lorinda was born August 27, 1985 to Aline Amboh.
She is survived by her companion, Alvin Cootes; aunts, Claudine Perry, Irene Peahrora, Lila Rodriguez, Bernie Shoyo, Cathy (Brian) Standing Rock, and Anita Clair; uncles, Eddie Amboh, Leonard Roberts Sr., and Arlen (Francine) Shoyo; siblings, Michelle "Polly" Shoyo (Devin Meeks), Justin Panzetanga and Jared Panzetanga; sisters, Lana, Andrea, Danette "Karla," Tammy and Christel Peahrora, Alice Jean (TJ) Hereford, Tara, Sally, Spring and Kandra Amboh LaDeana Strock, and BenniLee Roberts; brothers Ronson (Juanita) Peahrora, Kerby (Stacy) Amboh, Jacob (Delphina) Amboh, Scott (Robin) Amboh, Jason Amboh, Ronald "RJ" Amboh, and Jared Amboh, Leonard Roberts Jr. and JayDee Roberts; nephews, Leithaniel Peahrora, Renfred and Dillon Aoah, Justin and Brandon Amboh, Leland and Johnny Herford, Joshua Amboh, Eddie Shoyo, Perry and Devin Panzetanga; nieces, Latoya (R.V. Jr) Hereford, Brea Perry, Nicole Benson, Danelle Amboh, Leandra Aoah, Daphne Peahrora, Yellowflower Shoyo, Shelli (Skyler) Littleshield, Johnna Roanhorse, Victoria and July Panzetanga; and other numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Aline Amboh; father, Dean "Dingus" Shoyo; brothers, Leland Peahrora, Kenneth "Ken" Shoyo Sr. and Roland Shoyo; aunts, Alta Amboh, Marilyn Shoyo-Roberts, LaVonne Shoyo Roanhorse; uncles,Alfred Amboh, Casey Amboh, Harrison "Bunny" Shoyo Jr. and Randy Shoyo; Grandparents, Ned and Jean Amboh, Harrison Sr. and Anna Marie Shoyo; nephew Duke Perry.
