Linda Marie Gaspari Davey was born September 6, 1954, in Iron River, Michigan, the daughter of Rudolph and Corinne Gaspari. She moved with her family to Saratoga, Wyoming, in 1970. In 1972, she graduated from high school and attended Cosmetology School in Casper, Wyoming, where she worked as a cosmetologist for fifteen years.

She married Skipper Davey on May 18,1974,and gained a daughter; Angela, In 1979 she had her daughter Mindy. In 1984, they moved to Lander, Wyoming.

She returned to school and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1992, earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in special education. In 2003, she earned her Master’s in Special Education. She taught Special Education at Starrett Jr. High School from 1993 until her retirement in 2016. Linda deeply cared for her students and dedicated herself to helping each child feel valued, capable, and supported. She had a gift for patience, kindness, and encouragement, and years later, many former students still fondly remembered “Mrs. Davey” and the positive impact she had on their lives.

In her younger years, Linda spent many happy hours on horseback in the Wind River Mountains, camping and hunting with family and friends. She was also a talented artist who found joy in creativity and beauty. Linda enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, camping, reading, knitting, and caring for her home and yard. She took great pride in her yard each spring, spending countless hours working on her berm and planting flowers.

She especially loved watching her granddaughters in dance and sporting events and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend whose kindness and caring nature touched everyone who knew her. Linda never spoke a bad word about anyone and had a special way of bringing out the best in people. She always put others before herself and was a source of comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love to her family and friends.

She was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life and brought her strength and peace in her final days. Her warmth, compassion, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Linda went home to the Lord on May 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Lander of 42 years.

She is survived by her husband, Skip; her daughter and son-in-law, Mindy and Michael Clancy II of Lander, and their daughters, Madison and McKenna Clancy; daughter, Angela of Wisconsin, and her children, Elric and Lilly; her sisters, Patti Atanasoff of Iron Mountain, Michigan, and Julie Gillett of Casper, Wyoming; and her brothers, Joe Gaspari of Saratoga, Wyoming, and Michael Gaspari of Sullivan, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Corinne Gaspari.

A Family Run Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 am at the Wind River Community Church, 120 Valley View Dr, Lander, WY 82520.
