Lillian Eve Sturm

Eve L. Sturm, long time resident of Lander, WY passed away on July 19, 2011 in Lander. Services were held 9:00 am, Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home, Lander, WY and burial followed in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Rock Springs, WY.
Eve was born in Ludlow, CO on January 19, 1936. Her family moved to Rock Springs, WY where she attended school and worked as a telephone operator.
Ed and Eve were married in 1965, and moved to Lander where they raised four children.
Eve was a published writer of poems, an adoring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed golf, cooking, sewing and most of all spending time with family and countless friends.
Eve is survived by her loving husband, Ed Sturm; one son, Kelly Williams of Rock Springs, WY; two daughters, Jackie Butler of Laplace, LA and Shawna Lackey of Thermopolis, WY; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Eve was preceded in death by Ray Williams; parents, Edward and Charlott Toner; two daughters, Tammy Williams, and Barbara Olson; brother, Teddy Toner; two sisters, Cheryle Toner, and Jane Jensen.
