Leslie Stuart Powell, 68 of Lander Wyoming passed surrounded by loved ones on May 25, 2024. Born February 1, 1956, to Willis Alfred "Bill" & Roberta "Bobbie" Ankeny Powell in Sheridan Wyoming. Leslie grew up on the family ranch in Quietus Montana.

Leslie went to school in a one-room schoolhouse until entering junior high, he graduated from Tongue River High School. He worked most of his life with his chainsaw in hand, his career started as a supervisor of Valley Tree Service in Sheridan Wyoming, and he went on to work for himself logging for close to 30 years.

Leslie and Tauna Koltiska Powell were married on June 12th, 1981, they will be celebrating 44 years of marriage this June.

Leslie is survived by his parents Bill and Bobbie Powell; wife Tauna, three sons Garth (Mindy) Powell, Daniel (Cheyenne) Powell of Bartlesville, OK, Tyrel (Megan) Powell of Loveland, CO, and daughter Lacey (Jake) Braun of Park City, MT. Grandchildren, Reese Powell (Devin Oakes), Dane Powell, Lynn Crawford, Addie & Ella Powell of Bartlesville, OK, Teagan Powell of Loveland, CO, Kolden & Timberlee Braun of Park City, MT. Great grandchildren Cylis and Avaline Oakes of Bartlesville, OK. Siblings Terry (Bernie) Powell of Buffalo, WY, Kathy (Jay) Schultz of Maui, HI, Kenneth Powell of Bellevue, WA, Jeanne Powell of Wyola, MT, Jamie (Dan) Lyons of Lander, WY, Scott (Teresa) Koltiska of Ranchester, WY, Brande Koltiska of Casper, WY, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding in death by grandmas Irene Rudolph, Martha Ankeny, grandson Tristian Bow Powell and niece Shaylyn Renae Lyons. In-laws Jim and Sherry Koltiska, brother Shawn Koltiska.

The graveside services will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander, Wyoming.
