Lenard Benjamen Tweed, known as "Benny" to his family, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 15, 2011 in Spokane, WA. He was born May 7, 1918 in Lander, WY to Zelima Guinard Tweed and Benjamen Tweed. He started his career at the Gamble's store in Lander with his mother and sister Nellie Dellinger. He served his country in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945 then continued his career with Gambles in Billings, MT., Minneapolis, MN. and Denver, CO. He is survived by his loving wife Helen George Tweed of 68 years and their 3 daughters, Sharron Tweed Noble (Mike) of Spokane WA., Elaine Tweed Cone (Bob) of Canyonville, OR., Bobbie Tweed St. Cyr (Bob) of Denver CO., 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Per the families wishes there will be a private family graveside at a later date.
