Larry Raymond Kaiser passed away of natural causes on April 3, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on July 21, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was raised by Clara and Raymond Kaiser with his sisters, Lucy and Liza, in Michigan.
Larry joined the Air Force in July, 1960. While attending a Valentine's Day USO dance on base, he met the love of his life, Shirley. They were married four months later on June 23, 1961 in Rapid City, SD. Shortly after their marriage, he was deployed to Guam, where he served for 2 years. Larry continued to serve until 1964, and remained in the Air Force Reserves until July, 1966.
Larry and Shirley were blessed with four children, Duane, Allen, Patty, and Nita. They moved to Mesa, AZ in 1975. While there, Larry worked for the City of Mesa as a manager of Public Works and Streets. In 1981, they all relocated to Lander, WY. Larry worked for the City of Lander Streets Department , putting in 24 years before retiring.
After the passing of his wife of 50 years, Larry kept himself busy around Lander. He continued to work various jobs in the community, and spent his free time doing his favorite social activities. Larry loved to bowl, golf, play pool, gamble, sing karaoke, attend UW football games, and spend time with family for any and all occasions.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, and wife, Shirley.
He is survived by his 2 sons and 2 daughters; Duane and Shaylinn Kaiser, Allen and Christina Kaiser, Patty and Tom Johnson, and Nita Cooper; 9 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren with a fourth great- grandchild on the way.
Larry will be laid to rest next to his wife, Shirley, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander, Wyoming.
