Krista Lynn Hayes, 42, of Katy, passed away on August 8, 2015 at her home in Houston, Texas. A Memorial Service for Krista Lynn Hayes will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home.
She was born on February 21, 1973, in Lander, Wyoming to Jack Dwayne Pulsipher and Eilene Laurel Lesher Pulsipher. Krista graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1991 where she had many good friends and was a cheerleader.
After graduation she attended the University of Wyoming. During this time she married her long-time sweetheart, Joseph Edward Hayes also from Lander on July 30, 1994. Later they had three daughters that were the light of her life and she was so proud of their accomplishments.
Krista was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Katy, and currently worked as a Pre-School teacher. Krista always had a bright smile and a kind word for everyone. She enjoyed arts, crafts and spending time with her daughters. She was a loving wife, mother, and a natural caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Pulsipher; maternal grandparents Eloise and Jim Lesher; paternal grandparents Robert "Lee" and Vera Pulsipher; and her great-grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Edward Hayes of Katy; her three lovely daughters, Jenya Nicole Hayes, Kelsey Erin Hayes, and Kami Jo Hayes, all of Katy; sisters, Kayla Guckel and her husband Rich of Rhode Island, and Jaime Duran of Casper, Wyoming; her parents, Jack and Eilene Pulsipher; nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law Donna Selby and her husband Jim. Her pets, two dogs and a cat that were a part of the family.
