Kenneth Wayne Lynch, 84 years old, of Lander, Wy, died on May-19-2023 peacefully in his sleep at the Showboat Retirement Center, Lander Wy.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 am Thursday July 13th, 2023 at Hudson's Funeral Home.
Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Lynch was born on 10/2/1938 to Ora Cecil "O.C." Lynch and Jauntia Luker in Magnum, Greer, Oklahoma.
Ken spent his early years on the family homestead in Magnum, Ok. After his mother passed away, his father and siblings moved around and eventually relocated to Thermopolis Wy, where he graduated high school. He worked as a mechanic before joining the Army where he trained as a medic. After his time in the service, he found his true passion, working in the oil field. He worked in the Dakotas, MT, ID, UT, CO and finally settled with his family in Casper Wy and established his own oil field consulting service, Kenco. In his free time, he was often found on his hands and knees playing with the children at the family get-togethers, or fixing up vehicles that he would often give to someone in need of a hand up. He was well known for his generosity.
Ken was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Sister Peggy Mura, Brother Aubrey "Okie" Lynch, 1st wife Janice, 2nd wife Liisa, infant son Timothy Lynch, and son Michael Rory Lynch.
Survivors include: brother, Birl Lynch, AZ; sister, Lara Edwards, CA; sister, Donna Joyce Lynch Becker, TX; son, Russell Lynch and family, OR; daughter, Rene'e Barry and familty, Lander,WY.
8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
