Keith Frank Kasselder went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Lander, WY. He was born the youngest of 5 children in Ord, NE on April 26, 1943 to Lloyd and Alice Kasselder. Keith married his high school sweetheart and one true love, Carol Sue Field, in 1961 and together they raised three children Paul, Jeanene, and Craig. Keith left a beautiful lasting legacy in six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He also had many notable career and academic achievements including a bachelor degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, farming, owning a business, and appraising.
Keith was easily recognized wearing his faded blue jeans, boots, striped pearl snap shirts, suspenders, a ball cap, and a big smile for everyone he met. Always a gentleman, Keith had a deep love for people and with a grin and good solid handshake never met a stranger. He went out of his way to make everyone feel like they mattered. It was important to him to display God's love in his everyday interactions with anyone he came into contact with.
Keith was a man with a sharp creative mind, quick wit, great sense of humor, and just a touch of orneriness to keep you on your toes. He enjoyed the outdoors, working with his horses and other pets, camping, fishing, Nebraska football, old tractors, tasty desserts, old hymns, Jesus, and his friends and family.
Keith was a man who trusted the Lord in his life and often said "What will be will be", and with that, it brings us peace in knowing he is enjoying the Sand Hills in Heaven.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place 11:00 am Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at the Hudson Community Church (319 New York Ave. Hudson, WY).
