Katie Louise Large

Katie Louise Large, 33, of Ethete passed away on February !2, 2022 in Greely, CO.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 7pm at the family residence located at 921 Blue Sky Highway.

The funeral service will be held at 10am at The Morning Star Church on Friday, February 18, 2022 with Roxanne Friday officiating. Burial will follow at Yellowcallf Cemetary.

Katie Louise Large was born to James & Linda Large on December 3 ^rd , 1988 in Laramie, WY. She passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022 in Greely, CO.

Katie Lou spent most of her life on the Wind River Reservation graduating from Wyoming Indian High School 2007. After graduation, Katie obtained her CAN license which was driven by her love and compassion for people. She worked at Westwood Heights, The Fremont County Girls Group Home, The Wyoming Life Resource Center and also The Gem Theater in Riverton.

In September of 2007 she welcomed into the world a beautiful baby girl, Nevaeh Rose, and in April of 2012 she was blessed with Aniyah Sarai. They were her pride and joy.

Her unique personality attracted many friends. Katie loved to cook, always searching for new recipes online. She always had her certain dishes at family dinners and get togethers. Her hobbies included traveling, cooking, reading books, listening to music, cruising, swimming, learning her dad's silver smith trade, and just having family get togethers.

Katie will always be remembered by her one-of-a-kind laugh and her beautiful smile.

The family would like to extend their gratitude toward everyone who contributed in anyway during our time of sorrow. May Creator continue to bless each and everyone of you. Hahou
