Kathryn, Kay, DeLozier passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 at Westward Heights in Lander, Wyoming. She was born September 4, 1935 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to Clifford and Kathryn (Wurst) Phillips. Her childhood was spent in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. She talked fondly about how wonderful a childhood she had with her parents, siblings, and her friends. She moved to Lander, Wyoming in 1975. Her move to Wyoming opened her up to many new experiences and friendships. Her friendship with Mary Runnberg and the years they spent working in the cafeteria at South Elementary school were especially fond memories for her. She always loved the beauty of the Lander area. She met Harold DeLozier and married him on March 1, 1990. She enjoyed her many activities with Harold, including traveling, rock hounding, and time with her family. Kay's favorite memories were raising her children, and she remembered fondly taking her boys to their little league practices and Girl Scouts with her daughter.
Kay moved to Westward Heights in 2021 and found an extended family with the caregivers and the other residents. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone who surrounded her during her final years. Kay is survived by her son, Dean (Diane) DiJenno, her daughter, Hope (Carl) Christiansen, daughter-in-law Lisa Jones, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold DeLozier, her son, Bill Jones, and grandson, Nick Jones. A private family service will be held at a later date.
